FAQ
We understand that starting or returning to therapy can raise many questions. Here are some of the most common ones we hear. If you don't see your question listed, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help.
1. Do you take insurance?
Yes! We currently accept Cigna, Aetna, and Optum. If you have a different insurance provider, we're happy to provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Just let us know what you need.
2. What kinds of therapy do you offer?
We provide individual therapy, couples counseling, and family therapy. Our therapists are skilled in a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life changes, trauma, and more. Each therapist offers a unique background and approach—visit our About Us page to learn more.
3. How do I schedule a session?
Click on our 'Schedule a Consult Call' button to set up an initial consultation with a therapist. You can also visit the Rates & Contact page to send us an email, or visit the form at the bottom of this page.
4. What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is all about getting to know you. We'll discuss what's bringing you in, your goals, and how we can support you. We will then develop a treatment plan. It's also an opportunity for you to get a sense of your therapist and ask any questions you may have.
5. Do you offer virtual therapy?
Yes. We offer telehealth (online therapy) for clients who prefer to meet from the comfort of their home.
6. Do you offer in-person therapy?
Yes. We offer in-person therapy and are located at I-25 and Colorado Blvd, right next to Best Buy.
7. How long are sessions?
Most sessions are 55 minutes long. If you wish to do couples therapy and are private pay, our therapists may recommend 90-minute initial sessions.
8. How often do we meet?
It depends on your goals and your situation. We recommend starting with weekly sessions, and then adjusting as progress is made. Your therapist will work with you to create a schedule that fits your life.
9. What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 48-hr cancellation policy. If you need to adjust your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
