Frequently Asked Questions
We understand that starting or returning to therapy can raise many questions. Here are some of the most common ones we hear. If you don't see your question listed, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help.
Do you take insurance?
Yes! We currently accept Cigna, Aetna, Optum (UnitedHealth Care), Carelon/Anthem, and Tricare West. If you have a different insurance provider, we're happy to provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Just let us know what you need.
What kinds of therapy do you offer?
We provide individual therapy. Our therapists are skilled in a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, therapy for men, self esteem therapy, and more. Each therapist offers a unique background and approach—visit our Meet the Teampage to learn more.
How do I schedule a session?
The way to get started is to book an intake call (will be with support staff later). Either fill out our form below or call us. After you book, you will receive an email where you can write your therapy goals and enter your insurance information so we can verify and let you know any co-pay you may have before the call.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is all about getting to know you. We'll discuss what's bringing you in, your goals, and how we can support you. We will then develop a treatment plan. It's also an opportunity for you to get a sense of your therapist and ask any questions you may have.
Do you offer virtual therapy?
Yes. We offer telehealth (online therapy) for clients who prefer to meet from the comfort of their home.
Do you offer in-person therapy?
Yes. We offer in-person therapy and are located at I-25 and Colorado Blvd, right next to Best Buy, and also in Colorado Springs, right off of N Academy Blvd.
How long are sessions?
Most sessions are 55 minutes long.
How often do we meet?
It depends on your goals and your situation. We recommend starting with weekly sessions, then adjusting after a couple of months as you make progress and establish momentum. Your therapist will work with you to create a schedule that fits your life.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 48-hr cancellation policy. If you need to adjust your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
